Event - The ADHD Child & His Family - The Total Plan
This event will be presented in English
Sara will discuss the components of her total approach in treating her child clients with attention deficit & hyperactivity disorder. These components include: the diagnostic process and resulting treatment recommendations, explanation of sensory sensitivities and treatment, exercises to increase attention and self-control and reduce hyperactivity, behavioral therapy, and aspects of the home environment that are relevant to the problem. Teacher recommendations and alternative approaches to medication will also be discussed.
Sara's part of the seminar will take place over three consecutive Friday mornings as follows:
Fridays of May 7th , 14th and 21st, 2010 from 9:30AM- 12PM
The fee for these three sessions, which are one unit, is 300 shekels per participant.
The 3-part seminar promises to be most informative, especially for parents who are just beginning their challenging journey of ADHD management of their child, but also for parents who want to see if they are covering all needed angles of this complex problem.
Attendees of the seminar are invited free of charge on the subsequent Friday, May 28, 2010 to hear a guest speaker, Moran Even, who will speak about bioresonance and his work with ADHD children.

שרה תדון במרכיבים של גישתה הכוללנית בטיפולה של מטופלים עם הפרעת קשב ריכוז והיפראקטיביות. המרכיבים כוללים התהליך הדיאגנוסטי וההמלצות הנובעות מכך, ההסתכלות על מערכת החושים ורגישויות תחושתיות, תרגילים להפחתת רגישויות ולהרגעת הגוף, תרגילים לשיפור הקשב ושליטה עצמית, תרגילים להפחתת אימפולסיביות, עיצוב התנהגות, והתייחסות לאלמנטים משפחתיים הרלוונטיים לבעיה.
נדון גם על הדרכה מומלצת למורים, עבודת צוות משותפת עם היועצת ופסיכולוגית בית הספר, ועל גישות אלטרנטיביות לטיפול תרופתי כשזה מתבקש.
הסמינר מועבר בארבעה חלקים ומועדים כדי לכלול כל החומר הרב. שרה תעביר שלשה החלקים הראשונים והם נחשבים כיחידה אחת לצורך ההרשמה.
