Born and bred in NYC, moved to Israel in 1981, bilingual, American & Israeli-trained and certified. Private clinic in Raanana, Israel since 1984. Graduate of Hebrew University, Jerusalem (B.A psychology, 1975), Queens College Graduate Program in School Psychology, NYC (M. Sc. Ed., 1977) and Revadim Family Therapy Institute, Israel (cert. 1992.) (Directors/instructors Drs. Nemalia Botchen and Esther Afek) I did extensive post-graduate training in playtherapy under the tutorship of Dr. Shlomo Ariel (see playtherapy clinic tab).

While my psycho-educational clinic is run solely by me, my approach is one of a team approach. In order to tackle the problem in all of it’s complexity I deal with the various systems of which the child is part ( family, school, community) in order to maximize positive aspects of his environment and promote development. This frequently involves working with teachers, guidance counselors, special education staff, and other professionals working with the child. As I approach the child's difficulties, all aspects of his life are taken into account and their influences on the difficulty are assessed. We get to the root of the problem as well as to the factors that maintain the problem at present. My comprehensive outlook, multidisciplinary approach, and wide range of treatment tools contribute to my high success rate in helping my clients.
